The gift of Helps is the ability to humbly serve and support others in ministry. It is not uncommon for people with the gift of Helps to feel like they don’t have any gifts at all. But this is far from true. These “resource” people desire to ensure that everyone on the ministry team has what they need to be successful, thus enabling the persons helped to increase their effectiveness in the use of their gifts.
“Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome. In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there” (Mark 15:40–41).
