Decide to live your life by trusting your _____________ instead of your circumstances.

Q: What do you do when circumstances don’t make sense?

1. ______________ IN GOD’S PERFECT _______________

2. REMEMBER THAT GOD NEVER ___________________

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. (Heb. 6:10)

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap…Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. (Galatians 6:7,9)

Q1: Do you struggle with insomnia?  If so, what do you to help fall asleep or to fill in the time when you are not sleeping?

Q2: Read Habakkuk’s prayer in Habakkuk 3:1–6, 11–13, 16–19. What does this passage teach us about trusting the Lord in spite of our circumstances?

Q3: It has been said that “timing is everything”. Describe a time in your life when “timing” played a significant role in the outcome of events.

Q34: Study Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.  Choose one of the specifics items listed that is especially relevant to your life right now.  Describe how timing in this area is so crucial to you in your current situation.

Q5: Has anyone ever noticed your efforts and taken the time to intentionally thank you?  How did that make your feel?  

Q6: Is there someone in your life right now whose efforts and faithfulness may be overlooked?  If so, what can you do to encourage them?

Q7: Read Daniel 4:13–16, 28–37.  What does the story of King Nebuchadnezzar teach you about the importance of humility?

Q8: What circumstances in your life have you baffled right now?

Q9: Of the three action steps that Pastor David described, which one do you need to implement in your current circumstances?  What is one specific thing you can do to put this action step into practice?

Q10: What are some biblical examples of God’s “in the nick of time” timing?
