elevate Youth Ministry is a Diverse, Safe Space for Students in Grades 6-12 to Experience Jesus’ Love and Grace.

elevate Youth is a unified youth ministry of Alta Vista Baptist, Arabic Baptist and First Hispanic Baptist Churches. This culturally diverse youth ministry meets Friday nights from 7-8:30 PM in the sanctuary of Alta Vista Baptist Church. Targeted for junior high and high school students, at elevate Youth students have an opportunity to engage in spiritual conversations with one another and our Youth Leaders in a safe and open environment. Students are challenged to think deeply about their relationship with Jesus as we study God’s Word together. Ministry at Canterbury High School

Alta Vista Baptist has the unique experience of growing a partnership with Canterbury High School. Located right across the street, CHS is a specialized Arts School and offers a number of programs in art disciplines such as: dance, drama, literary, music, or visual arts. Alta Vista Baptist serves CHS through participation in their weekly Christian Club meetings, by providing pizza and recourses to run the Alpha for Youth program on the school’s campus, and by offering a free barbeque lunch in the fall to welcome students back to school.
