I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them and comfort those who mourn. Then words of praise will be on their lips. May they have peace, both near and far, for I will heal them all,” says the lord. (Isaiah 57:18-19)
So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. When you bow down before the Lord and admit your dependence on Him, He will lift you up and give you honor. (James 4:7,10)
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way… (Isaiah 53:6a)(Romans 3:23)
The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict. (Galatians 5:17)
