Text: Romans 2:1-11

 “Every time you criticize someone, you condemn yourself. It takes one to know one… But God isn’t so easily diverted. He sees right through all such smoke screens and holds you to what you’ve done.” – Romans 2:1b-2 (MSG) 


  • 3 kinds of sinners in Romans 1:18-2:29

a) Those who don’t know/reject God (1:18-32)

b) Those who think they don’t need God (2:1-16)

c) Those who think they can reach God on their own (2:17-29)

8 Truths About God’s Judgement

1) God’s judgment reflects the ____________ (1:1-2)

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you…” (Matthew 7:1-5)

2) There is no _______________ in God’s judgement (vs. 3)

  • God does not grade on a curve!
