 Now that you are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus (Romans 3:24), what next?

5 Truths That We MUST Know (vs. 1-10)

 We have ____________ to sin (vs. 1-2)

“Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” – Galatians 5:24

 We have __________ and were ___________ with Christ in Baptism (vs. 3-4)

 We share in Christ’s _______________________ life (vs. 4-5)

 Our old selves were _________________ with Christ (vs. 6-7)

 We will also ____________ with Christ (vs. 8-10)

“For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.” – Colossians 2:12-13

3 Actions We MUST Take in Light of These Truths (vs. 11-23)

 Recognize that you are dead to sin and ___________ to God in Christ (vs. 11-12)

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20

 Offer yourself _____________ to God (vs. 13-19)

“So give yourselves completely to God. Stand against the devil, and the devil will run from you. Come near to God, and God will come near to you. You sinners, clean sin out of your lives. You who are trying to follow God and the world at the same time, make your thinking pure.” – James 4:7-8

 Remember the eternal benefits of ________ God (vs. 20-23)

“Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:8-9
