Peter part 2 (post-Jesus’ Crucifixion)…
1) @ the Tomb (John 20:1-10)
- Peter’s reaction to the news (Mark 16:7, Luke 24:12)
- sense of Hope, Belief, Urgency, Courage…
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you…” – 1 Peter 1:3-4, 8-9

Digging Deeper
Q1: Has there been a time in your life when it seemed like everything had gone wrong but in the end it turned out for the best? What happened?
Q2: How would your life change if the resurrection was on the forefront of your mind everyday?
Q3: Read Psalm 119:147-148. Do you take time to “have breakfast” with Jesus? What could you do to find more time to read the Bible and pray?
Q4: Describe a time when you received full forgiveness from Jesus after you made decisions that negatively affected your relationship with Him.
Q5: Describe your reaction to Peter’s sermon in Acts 2:14-36?
Q6: Why should this story of multiple conversions encourage us today?
Q7: If you are a Christian, thank God for His forgiveness of your sin and the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. If you are not yet a believer, what is holding you back from coming to Jesus?
