Q1: Why is Christmas so important?

Jesus Christ is the exact likeness of the unseen God.  He existed before God made anything at all, and in fact, Christ Himself is the Creator who made everything… (Col. 1:15-16) (TLB)

Q2: Why did Jesus come?

  • Jesus came to show you what ___________ is like.

Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. But now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son…The Son reflects God’s own glory, and everything about him represents God exactly… (Hebrews 13:1,2a,3a)

  • Jesus came to show you how ________________ you are.

God showed how much He loved us by sending His only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him.  This is real love… that God sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. (I John 4:9-10)(NLT)

Q3: What difference does Christmas make to me?

We were restored to friendship with God by the death of His Son while we were still His enemies, and we will be delivered from eternal punishment by His life.  So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God – all because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us…

(Rom. 5:10-11)(NLT)

God’s gift is personal, practical,                                        priceless and permanent!

Dear Jesus, I don’t want to let another Christmas pass without accepting Your gift of salvation.  I am amazed that You would want a relationship with me. I know I’ve done a lot of things wrong. I’m sorry for my sins. Thank you for loving me. Thank You for dying on the cross so that my sins could be forgiven. Thank You for coming to earth so I could know what God is like. Thank you for preparing a place in heaven for me! Today I surrender my heart and life to you as Saviour and Lord.

Amen.
