THE REALITY OF WORK “UNDER THE SUN”
1. It can provide some short-term ________________. (2:10)
2. It takes ____________. (2:4-9)
3. It is never ________________. (2:22-23; 10:18)
4. It often ___________ us down. (1:3; 2:17; 3:9-10)
And to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to your wife and at the fruit I told you not to eat, I have placed a curse on the ground. All your life you will struggle to scratch a living from it…All your life you will sweat to produce food, until your dying day…” (Genesis 3:17, 19a)

FOUR BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES TO WORK BY
1. Enjoy your work as a ___________ from God.
So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink and to find satisfaction in work. Then I realized that this pleasure is from the hand of God. (Ecclesiastes 2:24)(NLT)
And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labour, for these are gifts from God. (Ecc. 3:13)(NLT)
2. Include ____________ in your work. (4:9-12)

Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days a week are set apart for your daily duties and regular work, but the seventh day is a day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any kind of work… (Genesis 20:8-10a)
