1)  God is ______________ with Me.  

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation…After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it. – Mark 16:15, 19-20

Digging Deeper

Q1: What are you most afraid of?

Q2: Can you think of one problem for which psychology has an answer that the Bible lacks? What implications does this have?

Q3: Share a story about how God’s presence helped you overcome fear? 

Q4: Read 2 Peter 1:3-4. What does Peter say Jesus’ power has given to Christians? For what purpose did Jesus give us His promises?

Q5: Read Ephesians 6:10-12. So often we are great at doing things on our own. Discuss what it looks like to find strength in God.

Q6: Read Daniel 3:16-30. What lessons do we learn from this passage about longing for God’s presence?

Q7: Spend a few minutes in prayer thanking the Lord for His presence in your life and ask His to teach you to long for more of it.
