“May our dependably steady and warmly personal God develop maturity in you so that you get along with each other as well as Jesus gets along with us all. Then we’ll be a choir—not our voices only, but our very lives singing in harmony in a stunning anthem to the God and Father of our Master Jesus! So reach out and welcome one another to God’s glory. Jesus did it; now you do it!” – Romans 15:5-7 (MSG)

- Jesus did this so often!

Digging Deeper
Q1: What is the worst “Dad Joke” you have ever heard?
Q2: In what ways, while being motivated by Christ’s example, are you already serving others rather than pleasing yourself?
Q3: What specific hope does Paul seem to have in mind in verse 13? It is a hope that you share?
Q4: Consider how Paul loved, knew and worked with so many fellow Christians. What does this teach us about the Christian life?
Q5: Real Romans 16:17-20. Would Paul issue these same warnings today? Why? What else would Paul warn us about today?
Q6: Read Romans 16:25-27. What strikes you most about Paul’s doxology?
Q7: An exercise: Bring to mind 10 of your closest friends/coworkers/family, following Paul’s example, write a short summary of what you appreciate about them the most.
