WORSHIP is saying “I __________ YOU” to God

Q: How can you say “I love You” to God?

1. You can say “I love You” through ____________.

-Psalm 66:8, Psalm 95:1

Sing out your thanks to the Lord; sing praises to our God, accompanied by harps. (Psalm 147:7)

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth; Make a loud noise, and rejoice and sing praise. (Psalm 98:4) (KJV)

2. You can say “I love You” by __________ to Him.

-Psalm 116: 1-4

3. You can say “I love You” by _______________ to Him.

  • Set aside ___________________ time with the Lord. (Lev. 23:3)
  • Open God’s love ____________ and read it yourself (II Tim. 3:16)
  • Take good notes during ____________________ times.

Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything. (James 1:2-4)

Q1: What is your favourite love song?  Is there a special memory attached to it? 

Q2: Pastor David said that worship is personal but not private.  

Read Matthew 5:13-16.  How do these verses relate to that statement?

Q3: Have you “heard” the Lord “speak” to you recently.  If so, share about that experience.  What did He use to communicate to you?
