HEAVEN is a place and a sphere, both far and near, where the Lord and those who love Him live together forever.
- Heaven is like nothing you’ve ever experienced before…and then some
- Heaven is like the most beautiful thing you can imagine…except better
- Heave is like safest place you know…but even more secure
- Heaven is like home…the way home ought to be!
Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits at God’s right hand in the place of honor and power. Let heaven fill your thoughts. Do not think only about things down here on earth. (Col. 3:1-2)
If you want to know what ___________ will be like in heaven just look at _________________.
Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. Earthly people are like the earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man. Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man. ( I Cor. 15:47-49)
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. (Phil. 3:20-21)
Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. (I John 3:2)
Q1: Will you be an ______________ in heaven? (Heb. 1:14, I Cor. 6:3)
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14)
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; (Ps. 91:11)
Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! (I Cor. 6:3)
Q2: Will you have a body in heaven or just float around like a disembodied ________________? (II Cor. 5:1-6, Luke 24)
Q3: What will your heavenly ___________ be like? (I Cor. 15)
- Our heavenly body will be like a “grown plant” compared to the “_____________” of our earthly body.
- Our heavenly body will be much _______________than our earthly body.
- v.42 imperishable
- v.43 g___________________
- v.43 powerful
