After God’s Heart

Lord willing, beginning January 31st Pastor David will launch a new sermon series “After God’s Heart”.  These days of uncertainty and social isolation can be hard on our heart!  Solomon exhorts, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”  (Proverbs 4:23) (NLT).  David, the shepherd king, has much to teach us about what is means to have a heart for God in a world that, at times, seems heartless.  Together, over the next few months, we will explore David’s journey in the pages of scripture, specifically 1 Samuel 16-31.  In order to prepare your own heart and understand the backdrop of David’s life, you are encouraged to invest some time in reading the following passages.
