Q1: What are some examples of where the ability to “hang on” is a positive thing?

Q2: Have you ever seen a conflict escalate because it involved money?  Explain.

Q3: What can the following verses teach us in regards to resolving conflict?

  • Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. (Ephesians 5:21)
  • Do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as possible. (Rom. 12:18)

Q4: What are some biblical principles regarding how to “fight fair” when seeking to resolve a conflict?

Q5: Have you ever had an experience where you chose to “let go” only to discover the Lord had something better waiting for you?  If so, explain.

Q6: Study James 4:1-5.  How does this relate to “Letting Go and Letting God”?

Q7: In Genesis 13:17 God instructed Abram to “walk through the length and the breadth of the land” that He had promised to him.  What do you think was the significance of this instruction from the Lord?
